JR PROGRAM 2017-2018 SEASON

 

JR Program Overview

Pac NW places a high level of importance on the technical development of its youngest players. We recognize that this is where the future begins and consequently, our priority in the youth academy is the development of each and every player that attends. 

Two Seasons

Summer/Fall:                May - November 2017

Winter/Spring:                January - April 2018

Regular League Play

PAC NW Teams currently play in the Regional Club League (RCL). The game seasons will consist of 8-10 games which are typically played on Saturdays and Sundays.

JR Program Curriculum & Goals

  • Increase technical competency and preparation in the following areas
    • Balance, coordination & control                
    • Dribbling & ball control
    • Skill development – Fakes & Moves
    • Development of positive game behaviors – Creative attacking players

Player Costs

Initial player fees, including registration and any uniform costs will be due at the first team meeting/TCB night on April 23rd. Uniforms not included in prices.

Uniforms

The PacNW Nike player’s kit for this age group includes a warm-up jacket, two jerseys, one pair of shorts, two pair of socks, and a slingpack. Uniform kit is required for new players and total cost is $125.

Field and Training

Starfire Sports Complex is the PAC NW home field for training and games for most teams. Starfire is considered one of the premier soccer facilities on the entire West Coast. Training will be held a minimum of twice per week on Monday & Wednesday from 5:15-6:30pm.  Times and locations are subject to change throughout the year.

Adult and Player Expectations

Coaches and Trainers are bound by the rules of conduct of WYS & PACNW. You can expect coaches to be on time and to act as role models for the teams. Players/parents are expected to follow the guidelines set forth in the PACNW code of conduct.
